The Department of Science and Environment (DSE) at Roskilde University is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position in marine ecology and biogeochemistry to commence on April 1st, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. This position offers a 24-month contract for a molecular ecologist with experience in gas exchange and/or microsensor techniques.

Qualifications 

1. Ph.D. or equivalent in sediment biogeochemistry, greenhouse gas dynamics, and/or molecular ecology within seagrass ecosystems.
2. Proficient in English, with a track record of publications in molecular ecology and/or greenhouse gas fluxes of seagrass meadows.
3. Knowledge of marine ecology, plant physiology, and sediment biogeochemistry.
4. Experience in using electrochemical microsensors, greenhouse gas analyzers, chemical imaging, and DNA extraction and sequencing.
