PSL University is seeking a highly motivated Data Steward with expertise in chemistry and computer science for its recently funded ChemAI major research program. The successful candidate will lead the digital transformation of the chemistry and chemical engineering departments, developing robust data management infrastructure and user-friendly tools to enhance research workflows. This role will also involve collaboration with other academic institutions, such as the Paris Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (PR[AI]RIE) and the DIM MaTerRe research program of the Ile-de-France region.

Qualifications 

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in academic or research environments.
•  Proficiency in programming (Python) and using tools like Jupyter notebooks.
• Proven experience in managing computer infrastructure and databases.
•  Strong knowledge of best practices in data management and digital workflows.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of experts and theoreticians.
