Description: The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) offers around 135 graduate scholarships annually, targeting studies in economics, business and management, science and technology, and other development-related fields. Here’s a streamlined process to apply:
Step 1: Gather Information
Contact the chosen academic institution(s) for specific information and application forms. Utilize resources such as institution websites, handbooks, and in-country information sessions to make informed decisions on your academic pathway.Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship
Indicate in your application to the institution that you wish to be considered for the ADB–JSP Scholarship. Submit the institution’s application form along with required documentation, including the ADB-JSP application sheet, recent income tax returns or salary certifications, and family income certification. Submit your application at least six months before your intended start date.Step 3: Selection Process
The academic institution will rank applicants and forward recommendations to ADB. ADB reviews these recommendations and advises institutions of the selected candidates. If awarded, you’ll agree to return to your home country post-study.Important Notes
Only applications submitted through participating institutions will be considered.
Family expenses, extra-curricular training, additional travel, and personal equipment costs are not covered.
Receipt of admission does not guarantee a scholarship.
