    The PhD program in Engineering at Marshall University provides a comprehensive research-based education.     Eligibility 

    1. Earned Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computing discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
    2.  A minimum GRE score of 310 in Verbal and Quantitative combined (at least 160 on the quantitative portion) and a 3.5 on the analytical portion. GRE is not required for students with BS or MS degrees in related fields from Marshall University.
    3. Three letters of recommendation demonstrating strong potential for success in doctoral studies and research.
    4. International students must qualify for admission to the university through the TOEFL or IELTS
